Wellingborough look fantastic in their new kit.

Wellingborough had two teams out at U7's again this week and struggled at the beginning to remember the things that we has been working on in training over the past weeks and could not cope with Oundlle in defence, but matched them in attack. Initially we forgot to get set for both attack and defence and seemed to want to chat amongst ourselves between plays making the game fragmented, in order to progress we need to concentrate for the whole game and get set in attack or defence straight away.

We did manage to shake of the holiday cobwebs and started to string together some good passages of play, showing the skills that I know you have resulting in some excellent tries being scored.

Remember:
Run Forward In Attack
Run Forward In Defence
Stay Within The Pitch When Running
Pass Backward When Tagged To A Wellingborough Teammate
Two Hands On The Ball
When The Opposition Is Tagged You Must Be In Front Of The Ball Until It Is Passed
When Tagged Get Your Tag Back As Quick As Possible And Get Back In The Game
Set Up For Attack or Defence Straight After A Try.

Man Of The Match : Fintan who was lightning in attack, ran forward in defence and always supported his team mates. Scored some great tries, Well Done.
