The club will hold a minutes silence in memory of Jim before our 1st XV league match v Stamford this Saturday, 21st March, at 2.15pm. All welcome.

The following message is from Jim's son, Andy.
"Myself and Kate are so sad to announce James Frank Parsons passed away peacefully on 13th March after a short illness, at Northampton General Hospital, with his family by his side. Jim was a much loved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Dad lived to a good age of 88 years, and he lived a full happy life, but it doesn’t stop our hearts being broken. Rest in peace Dad , we love you.
Dad’s funeral is 11 am next Tuesday 24th March at Doddington Crematorium then afterwards at the Stags Head, Great Doddington- if you would like to raise a glass to Jim and celebrate his life we’ll see you there. “

It is with deep regret that the club announces the passing of club stalwart, Jim Parsons, in hospital, on 12th March 2026.
He will of course be missed by his family and we send our deepest condolences to his partner Sue and family.
He leaves a big, big hole in the Wellingborough RFC family
News of his funeral arrangement's will be published when known.
